It was much greener place than I imagined - big trees and bushes, very low fences. Nothing like paved paths with cages of unhappy animals; a stereotype I have for a zoo. Thanks for the shades of trees, it didn't feel like 33C.
Well, there was one unhappy animal - the polar bear! With all that fur, he couldn't take this heat in NYC today. Poor guy.
We walked and looked a lot, and had a vanilla soft serve. We had one when we went to the zoo in Ueno, Tokyo. It completes my trip to the zoo.
